4th Swami Vivekananda Championship Night Football Tournament 2019 is going on at Railway ground, Satkar Samity jointly organised by Mal Municipality, Sub Divisional Association and Satkar Samity.
11th of January was it’s Pre-opening ceremony Extravaganza at Railway Ground. Extravaganza had started at 6:00 PM wherein performed by Zee Bangla Dance Group and renowned singers from Mumbai and Kolkata. Many well known singers were present and performed.
On 12th of January, on the auspicious occasion of 156th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was its grand opening. Tourism Minister of West Bengal honourable Mr. Goutam Deb was present on the stage. He lit the spice of the football tournament.

Uttam Das is a professional football juggler. He has done approx 400 shows in 17 districts of West Bengal. Out of West Bengal, he has also performed in Delhi, Goa, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Assam, Agartala, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and also in Dubai.
One of the finest Indian Footballer Mr. Monoranjan Bhattacharya was also present on the Railway Ground.

He is an Indian Football International Player and club level coach and Manager.
During his playing career he represented the “Big Two” of Kolkata Football East Bengal Club and Mohun Bagan AC.
He also represented India in various international tournaments from 1978 till 1989.
Two trophies are there for winner and runner team of the tournament. Sachindra Nath Das Memorial Winners Trophy for the winner football team and Bimal Kanti Mitra Memorial Running Runners Trophy for the runner team of this football tournament.
History
Swami Vivekananda Championship Night Football Tournament has been started from 2016. Netaji Subhash Athletic Club (Oodlabari) has become two times champion by winning the tournament.
They had defeated African United in 2016 and Mechi Nepal in 2017.
Netaji Subhash Athletic Club also reached in the final in 2018. But they had been defeated by Satkar Samity Malbazar and became the champion for the first time.
